Dr. Adam Durma is a specialist in the fields of endocrinology and andrology and is currently pursuing a specialization in nuclear medicine. He completed his studies at the Faculty of Military Medicine at the Medical University of Lódz with an impressive grade point average of 4.56, ranking first among military students and third among all students in his class.
His education also included two postgraduate courses: "Health Care Management" and "Management and Leadership in Health Care Facilities of the Ministry of National Defense."
Since 2016, Dr. Adam Durma has been associated with the Military Institute of Medicine. After completing his postgraduate internship, he began working at the Department of Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, and Internal Diseases, and currently holds the position of Senior Assistant in the Department of Endocrinology and Isotope Therapy. He has developed his professional experience by working in Endocrinology Clinics and Primary Health Care Centers and participating in clinical trials, including research on osilodrostat.
He is a co-author of the translation of the "Oxford Handbook of Endocrinology" and the author of numerous publications in Polish and international journals.
He is a member of the Polish Society of Endocrinology and the Polish Society of Andrology. He is skilled in performing thyroid, abdominal, and testicular ultrasound, thyroid biopsies, as well as laser ablation of thyroid nodules.
