Dr. Mariusz Ciastkowski is a graduate of the Faculty of Military Medicine at the Medical University of Lódz, where he completed his studies in 2016. He currently combines medical practice with military service and is undergoing specialization training in Otolaryngology at the Otolaryngology and Oncological Laryngology Clinic of the Military Medical Institute in Warsaw.
As a doctor, he systematically develops his knowledge and skills by participating in numerous certified courses, training sessions, and conferences. He is particularly interested in the field of ultrasound diagnostics of the head and neck, in which he has gained knowledge and skills through numerous courses organized by leading ultrasound schools in Poland.
Among the courses he has completed, it is worth mentioning 'Ultrasound of the Thyroid, Parathyroids, and Lymph Nodes in the Neck, Including Elastography. Practical Course for Beginners and Intermediate' and 'Ultrasound in Laryngology Practical Course,' organized by the Roztoczanska Ultrasound School. He has also completed an accreditation course of the Polish Society of Organ Biopsy and the Polish Society of Endocrine Oncology in the field of Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy (FNAB) of the Thyroid.
As part of his professional development, he has also participated in several other training sessions, including 'Physical Basics of Ultrasound and Doppler Techniques,' organized by the Roztoczanska Ultrasound School, and 'Ultrasound of the Thyroid in Adults' – a comprehensive course for beginners, organized by Ultrasound Trainer. He also participated in practical workshops on the ultrasound diagnostics of carotid and vertebral arteries, organized by Ultrasound Trainer, as well as workshops and a practical guide to ultrasound diagnosis of thyroid pathology, conducted by Ultrasound Trainer Warsaw.
The skills acquired during the training courses are utilized and developed in his work, performing imaging studies on scheduled patients as well as in emergency situations, both in the Clinic and in the Emergency Department.
