Hand Surgery

Hand surgery is a subspeciality within orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, incorporating elements of vascular and plastic surgery. The hand is anatomically complex, enabling it to perform tasks requiring precision. Minor hand conditions can significantly impact a patient's functionality and mobility, while small injuries may cause pain and discomfort. Untreated microtraumas may necessitate surgical intervention in the future. It's worth noting that neglecting hand conditions can lead to irreversible damage.

If you experience symptoms such as:

  • flexor contractures,
  • grip weakness,
  • inability to make a fist,
  • movement blockage,
  • problems with bending and straightening fingers,
  • inability to perform normal daily activities

it is a sign that you should seek consultation with a specialist in hand surgery as soon as possible, who will develop and implement a precise action plan aimed at improving quality of life and restoring hand function.
