Dr. Kamil Kwolek is a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Jagiellonian University. He currently serves as a senior assistant in the Orthopedics and Rheumatology Clinic (Ward XIV) at SPSK CMKP named after Prof. A. Grucy in Otwock. This ward has earned a leading reputation in Poland in the field of knee and hip joint prosthetics.
His wide range of scientific and clinical interests include overuse injuries and sports injuries, as well as conservative methods for treating degenerative diseases.
He specializes in joint-preserving methods, endoprosthetics, including knee and hip joints, and unicompartmental knee prostheses, as well as knee joint diseases such as meniscus and ACL injuries. He is also involved in minimally invasive treatment of forefoot deformities, such as hallux valgus.
His involvement is not limited to clinical practice, as he is also engaged in research. In the past, he was the recipient of a grant and led a research project on the use of artificial intelligence methods in diagnosing lower limb deformities. He is continuing his education with doctoral studies at the Doctoral School of CMKP in Warsaw, where he also conducts teaching activities.
His passions extend beyond medicine. In the past, he was a player in the 1st futsal league in Krakow, where his skills and commitment contributed to the team's promotion to the top league, becoming a bronze medalist in the Polish Medical University Championships, reflecting his versatility and determination to achieve both professional and athletic goals.
